Convert Imagepacks to Brushes
1. Open up an imagepack. I will be using this one here.
2. Once you've done that, select the which image you want to make a brush and select it then paste it in a new image.
3. Go to Image > Mode > Grayscale *This step is crucial* To see if it is a grayscale image look at the top.
4. Now go to Image > Flatten Image.
5. You're ready to save. Type in a name for your brush and add .gbr to the end
6.Don't hit save yet. You have to put the brush in a specific folder.
Click on C:\ > Documents and Settings > Your computer username > gimp (version number) > brushes
7. Click on the save button and you're done!
