About Munchie
So you want to learn more about me? Well let's see...I'm your typical teenager who loves webdesigning. I got into it when I first started playing neopets in the fourth grade so it's been about 7 years.
Like most people, I've owned sites previously before, but they were
unsuccessful. My first successful site was
Spiffy Neo, but I decided to leave because my computer
crashed and I lost everything on my computer. Originally, I wasn't going to open a site, but I had an idea
to make a resource site centered around Neopets and that's how Tempting-Illusions was born!
After awhile, I started straying away from the neopets because I got
bored of it (once again) and I felt it was time for Tempting Illusions
to move on :)
I'm 17 and yes I'm old :P I may not act like my age
due to my "kiddie language" BUT I can be serious when I have to be. Life
can't always be fun and games right? Being serious sucks the fun out of
everything so I like being laid back. Fashion and makeup isn't exactly my thing XD I don't have the time or
patience to make my face look all pretty just to wash it off at the end
of the day. I'd prefer a fun video game over girly stuff anyday :) I also
like to reminisce on the past because I loved my childhood even though
it wasn't exactly the "perfect." Growing up is a big part of life, but I
admit it's a pain because everything changes. I'm a semi-quiet person,
but every year I've been coming out of my shell :D At school, I can be
a nerd, but I'm not the brightest person. I try my best in school,
but it's not always my first priority. Procrastination gets in the way
almost every time. I also have my fair share of "dumb" moments especially
when it comes to science because my brain literally shuts down for some
odd reason. I can do a little of everything, but I don't excel in a
particular thing.
Rap music is important to me because it speaks the truth. I hate the
weird looks I get when I tell people that. You don't have to act
"gangster" or "hood" just to listen to a certain type of music. Saying
rap music is a bad influence is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I
grew up listening to it and my gpa is 3.9/4.0 so HA! Blaming rap music
for things is also really stupid. People should blame America's horrible
excuse for a government instead of using a genre of music as a
scapegoat.
Religion is a semi touchy subject for me because I'm atheist. I have no
problem with religious people as long as they don't try to change my
opinion. My friends make fun of me for it, but I don't really care
cause it's not big deal. I have my opinions and they have theirs. I hate
people that ask me why I'm atheist...I don't question you so why
question me?
What ticks me off are little kids who act like sluts. Yes I said
it :P kids nowadays need to start acting their own age and stop looking
up to people like Miley Cyrus >.< I would give
anything to be a kid again because being young and innocent is BLISS! I
also don't like being told what to do. I think I'm old enough to take
care myself. I know what's good and what's not good for me. People that
tend to cuss 24/7 are also very annoying. It's not that I'm offended,
but saying f this f that all the time is kinda lame....I also hate cocky
people because they are annoying. Just because you're good at something
does not make you all that special. There's always someone better than
you. ;)
Tempting-Illusions
The name Tempting-Illusions was created very late at
night. Maybe around 2-3am. I didn't want it to have the word neo in it because I wanted something
totally original. At first I really wanted to
use the word lust, but I couldn't come up with anything
that sounded good. So I searched Google (my best friend)
for site namers with random words. I saw the word
"illusions" and liked it so then I brainstormed for words
that would go with it and I came up with "tempting".
It sounded mysterious to me and those are the types of names
I like so I decided to name the site Tempting-Illusions!
I also had other ideas such as Stolen-Innocence
(turns out it was a tv show after Googling).

Yep, it's me, myself, and I that do the updates and makes the stuff for
you.
Can you make a _______ tutorial for *insert program*?
Let me know through cbox, cutenews, or email and I will try to get to
it.
Are you accepting staff?
No, and I don't think I ever will. In the future I might take on someone
who will serve as an "intern" but I need to figure out the details
first.
You need more graphics on this site.
This question actually bugs me XD Tempting Illusions is a
resource/personal site and according to me, graphics and resources are
considered two separate things.
I sent you an email a few days ago. Still no reply.
I'm horrible with emails because I'm either too lazy to reply for I just don't
feel like replying XD. But if I don't reply it's either one of those reasons
for I just didn't receive it. If I don't reply in a week send it again.
Why don't you take graphic requests?
Not because I'm lazy XD It's mainly because whenever I make stuff on
photoshop I basically mess around with effects then "clean it up". It's
also difficult for me to make things following a certain format. If you
would like a custom layout from me send me an email and I'll see what I
can do. ;)
